The BioProcessing Asia Conference Series is a non-commercial, not-for-profit platform for the dissemination of biopharmaceutical science and technology in the Asian region. The Conferences are held every 2 years and attract key opinion leaders and international experts in the areas of research, development and manufacturing of biopharmaceuticals, vaccines and blood plasma products.
On each occasion these Conferences have attracted over 100 biopharmaceutical experts from at least 16 Asian countries, including China, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, India and Japan as well as Australia and New Zealand. US participants account for ca. 15% and Europeans for 25%. Over 80 different organisations have participated in the BioProcessing Asia Conferences to date.
Keynote speakers have included Prof Jane Cardosa, former Advisor to the Gates Foundation, Prof Charles Cooney from MIT, Arun Chandavarkar, CEO at Biocon Ltd., Prof Nigel Titchener-Hooker, UCL and Jan Bult, Chairman of the Plasma Protein Therapeutics Association.
Past presentations from both academia and industry have demonstrated best-in-class advances and have been rated as Excellent, Very Good and Good by essentially all attendees.
