It is with great pleasure that we announce the Third International BioProcessing Asia Conference to be held at the Langkawi International Convention Centre, Malaysia, from the 12th to the 15th November 2018.
The Programme includes Keynote talks by:
Ashok Kumar, President of IPCA’s R&D Center and
Subhash Kapre, Director Emeritus of the Serum Institute of India.
Scientific sessions, held over three days include outstanding speakers from China, India, Japan, Australia and Singapore as well as Europe and the USA. Thirty-six internationally known presenters from academia and industry will address Asian biopharmaceutical developments and needs. Sessions cover the latest in R&D, facilities and the economics of biosimilars, vaccines, monoclonals, recombinant and plasma derived products. In 2018 BPA is forward looking towards cell and gene therapy product development.
This conference follows in the footsteps of the two previous highly successful BPA Conferences in 2014 and 2016 in addressing important issues facing the development of a dynamic, vibrant bioprocessing industry in the Asian region. Six half-day Oral Sessions and an interactive Poster Session will provide conference participants with the latest innovations in bioprocessing and direct access to key international opinion leaders in the field.
The rapidly changing demographics in Asia generate an increasing demand for all types of affordable biopharmaceutical products from prevention to treatment. To a large extent, the ability to satisfy patient needs will rely on the ability of the Asian biopharmaceutical industry to research, develop and manufacture safe and ef cacious products. For this, a dynamic and innovative R&D culture is required in concert with the development of high yielding, reliable, reproducible and sustainable processes.
The Scientific Advisory Committee and Session Chairs welcome abstracts for Poster Presentation on all topics of the conference which focus on bioprocessing developments that enable improved and sustainable biosimilars, vaccines, blood plasma products and novel therapies.
We are very pleased to invite you to the Third BioProcessing Asia Conference and look forward to welcoming you to the island of Langkawi and to this truly unique conference.

BioProcessing Asia is proud to announce its Conference Partner the
Recovery of Biological Products Conference Series
The XVIIIth Recovery Conference will be held in Asheville, NC, USA, 7-12 October 2018. The theme of the conference, Bioprocessing 3.0, is about better connecting people, systems and machines. Information is delivered quickly and in much more meaningful ways that facilitate rapid and correct decisions. This will require a completely new kind of process development and management platform that eschews silos for corporate planning, product design, manufacturing execution, supply chain logistics, quality management, manufacturing intelligence, analytics, and so on. The future Development and Management Platform will be a seamless system with information flowing upstream and downstream, and across organizational structures, throughout the life-cycle of process design and operations.
